IMPORTANT SAFETY & PRODUCT CARE INFORMATION
UNPACK CAREFULLY
• Please be aware that your product is fragile. If possible, use the help of a second person to remove the loudspeaker from the box.
• Place the speaker bag directly on a soft surface to avoid hitting the vase or the connectors on the rear panel.
• Keep the packaging materials in case your speaker needs to be relocated or serviced.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
• Do not allow the speaker to get into contact with humidity, heat or water! Keep the speaker technology, including cabinet materials and power supply, away from extreme conditions to avoid a shock hazard or damage of the components.
• Only use the product indoors! (Intended use is within a temperature range of 5 – 30°C (40 – 90°F) and a humidity around 30% to 70%)– Exclusively use 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz AC power voltage. Other voltages may damage the unit or create fire hazard.
• Never connect the speaker with another amplifier through the audio-in mini-jack, since the speakers internal amplifier may be damaged.
• If connecting to an unamplified audio device (e.g. turntable), always use a preamplifier to regulate the output level. (Connecting directly trough the audio-in may damage the speakers internal amplifier or your audio device)
• Do not open the speaker cabinet or power supply under any circumstances.
GENERAL PRODUCT CARE
• Avoid direct sunlight, as this may affect the color of the natural materials of your speakers. • Always place the speakers on a stable piece of furniture or stand.
• Only clean the cabinets with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use any chemical products.
QUICK START GUIDE
FIRST: Plug the DC Plug into the power input on the back panel of the speaker, and THEN plug in MAPU to a power outlet!
TURN MAPU ON: Press and hold the Master button for at least 3 seconds until the status indicator turns on. (orange light starts flashing + sound of Heartbeat)
A) CONNECT WITH BT DEVICE: When the orange light is flashing, the speaker is in pairing mode. Turn on BT on your device and choose to connect to ‘MAPU’. (orange light turns permanent + sound of Udu)*
B) USING AUX ANALOG 3.5 MM AUDIO IN: Connect the AUX 3.5 mm mini-jack cable to your audio device and THEN connect the other end to the audio-in jack on the back panel of the speaker. **
PRESS PLAY AND ENJOY!
DISCONNECT BT DEVICE: to disconnect from one BT device and connect with another:
A) press and hold the Master button on the speaker for at least 3 seconds.
B) unpair / disconnect BT on your currently connected device. (orange light starts flashing again + Marimba sound)
TURN MAPU OFF: Shortly press the Master button once. (light turns off + Tablas sound)
ENERGY SAVING MODE: If no connection is established within 15 minutes, MAPU will automatically turn off. (light turns off + Tablas sound)
* Please note: The speaker will always automatically connect to the most recently connected device.
** When the AUX 3.5 mm mini-jack cable is plugged into the speaker, the BT connection will be automatically and temporarily disabled, but the speaker and the BT source device remain paired Verify Line Voltage Before Use
TROUBLESHOOTING
IF YOUR SPEAKER DOESN’T PLAY MUSIC, PLEASE CHECK THE FOLLOWING:
• Ensure that the power cord is plugged in terminal correctly and power is turned ON.
• In case you are using the BT connection, ensure that it has been properly paired with the speaker and confirm that the 3.5 mini Jack is not plugged in.
• Make sure your BT or Aux-in source device is playing audio and gradually increase the volume
IF YOU CAN’T CONNECT THE SPEAKER TO YOUR BT DEVICE, PLEASE CHECK:
• If your device doesn’t identify the MAPU speaker, turn the BT functionality OFF and then ON again and wait for a moment. (For Android devices, choose ‚refresh‘)
• If you can’t pair your device, make sure that no other device is paired and blocking the connection. (To disconnect manually, press and hold the Master button for at least 3 seconds until the orange light starts flashing & the Marimba sound appears).
• Try to connect another BT device, or try to connect via Audio in mini Jack.
• If your device doesn’t recognize the speaker at all, reset the connection by removing MAPU from the BT list on your device. Then start the connection process from the beginning.
IF YOUR CONNECTION IS DISRUPTED, PLEASE CHECK:
• Move the device closer to the speaker. (recommended distance < 10m)
• Avoid sources of interference or signal absorption such as thick walls, aquariums or human bodies. (Interferences may also occur when carrying the device in your pocket).
*ONLY FOR MAPU STEREO
• If only one speaker in a stereo pair reproduces sound, make sure that the active and the passive speaker are properly connected via the XLR stereo cable.
• If you hear a metallic vibration from the backside of the speakers, check if the XLR stereo cable connector screws are loose and retighten them on both sides.

WICHTIGE INFORMATIONEN ZU SICHERHEIT UND PRODUKTPFLEGE
VORSICHTIG AUSPACKEN
– Bitte beachten Sie, dass Ihr Produkt zerbrechlich ist. Nehmen Sie, wenn möglich, eine zweite Person zu Hilfe, um den Lautsprecher aus dem Karton zu nehmen.
– Legen Sie die Stofftasche direkt auf eine weiche Unterlage, um zu vermeiden, dass die Vase oder die Anschlüsse an der Rückseite beschädigt werden.
– Bewahren Sie das Verpackungsmaterial auf, für den Fall, dass der Lautsprecher repariert oder gewartet werden muss.
WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSINFORMATIONEN
– Lassen Sie den Lautsprecher nicht mit Feuchtigkeit, Hitze oder Wasser in Berührung kommen!
– Halten Sie die Lautsprechertechnik, einschließlich der Gehäusematerialien und des Netzteils, von extremen Bedingungen fern, um die Gefahr eines Stromschlags oder einer Beschädigung der Komponenten zu vermeiden.
– Verwenden Sie das Produkt nur in Innenräumen! (Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch in einem Temperaturbereich von 5 – 30°C (40 – 90°F) und einer Luftfeuchtigkeit von 30 – 70%)
– Verwenden Sie ausschließlich 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz Wechselspannung. Andere Spannungen können das Gerät beschädigen oder eine Brandgefahr darstellen.
– Schließen Sie den Lautsprecher niemals über die Audio-In-Minibuchse an einen anderen Verstärker an, da der interne Verstärker des Lautsprechers beschädigt werden kann.
– Wenn Sie ein unverstärktes Audiogerät (z. B. einen Plattenspieler) anschließen, verwenden Sie immer einen Vorverstärker, um den Ausgangspegel zu regulieren. (Ein direkter Anschluss über den Audioeingang kann den internen Verstärker des Lautsprechers oder Ihr Audiogerät beschädigen)
– Öffnen Sie unter keinen Umständen das Lautsprechergehäuse oder das Netzteil.
ALLGEMEINE PRODUKTPFLEGE
– Vermeiden Sie direkte Sonneneinstrahlung, da dies die Farbe der natürlichen Materialien Ihrer Lautsprecher beeinträchtigen kann.
– Stellen Sie die Lautsprecher immer auf ein stabiles Möbelstück oder einen Ständer.
– Reinigen Sie die Boxen nur mit einem weichen, trockenen Tuch. Verwenden Sie keine chemischen Produkte.
SCHNELLSTART-ANLEITUNG
Stecken Sie ZUERST den Gleichstromstecker in den Netzeingang auf der Rückseite des Lautsprechers, ANSCHLIEßEND schließen Sie MAPU an eine Steckdose an!
MAPU EINSCHALTEN: Halten Sie die Master-Taste (1) mindestens 3 Sekunden lang gedrückt, bis sich die Statusanzeige einschaltet. (orangefarbenes Licht beginnt zu blinken + Herzschlag-Ton)
A) MIT BT-GERÄT VERBINDEN: Wenn das orangefarbene Licht blinkt, befindet sich der Lautsprecher im Kopplungsmodus. Schalten Sie BT auf Ihrem Gerät ein und wählen Sie die Verbindung zu “MAPU”. (orangefarbenes Licht leuchtet dauerhaft + Udu-Ton)*
B) VERWENDUNG DES ANALOGEN 3,5-MM-AUDIOEINGANGS: Schließen Sie zuerst das AUX 3,5 mm Miniklinkenkabel an Ihr Audiogerät an und verbinden Sie anschließend das andere Ende mit der Audioeingangsbuchse auf der Rückseite des Lautsprechers. **
DRÜCKEN SIE PLAY UND GENIESSEN DIE MUSIK!
TRENNEN VON BT-GERÄTEN: Um die Verbindung von einem BT-Gerät zu trennen und mit einem anderen zu verbinden:
A) Halten Sie die Master-Taste (1) am Lautsprecher mindestens 3 Sekunden lang gedrückt.
B) Trennen Sie das Pairing / die BT-Verbindung mit dem aktuell verbundenen Gerät. (orangefarbenes Licht beginnt wieder zu blinken + Marimba-Ton)
MAPU AUSSCHALTEN: Drücken Sie einmal kurz die Mastertaste. (Licht geht aus + Tablas-Ton)
ENERGIESPARMODUS: Wenn innerhalb von 15 Minuten keine Verbindung hergestellt wird, schaltet sich MAPU automatisch aus. (Licht geht aus + Tablas-Ton)
* Bitte beachten Sie: Der Lautsprecher verbindet sich immer automatisch mit dem zuletzt angeschlossenen Gerät.
** Wenn das AUX 3,5-mm-Miniklinkenkabel an den Lautsprecher angeschlossen ist, wird die BT-Verbindung automatisch und vorübergehend deaktiviert, aber der Lautsprecher und das BT-Quellgerät bleiben gekoppelt.
STÖRUNGSBEHEBUNG (TROUBLESHOOTING)
WENN IHR LAUTSPRECHER KEINE MUSIK ABSPIELT, ÜBERPRÜFEN SIE BITTE DIE FOLGENDEN PUNKTE:
– Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Netzkabel richtig eingesteckt und der Strom eingeschaltet ist.
– Falls Sie die BT-Verbindung verwenden, vergewissern Sie sich, dass sie ordnungsgemäß mit dem Lautsprecher gekoppelt wurde, und stellen Sie sicher, dass kein Kabel in der 3,5-Minibuchse steckt.
– Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Ihr BT- oder Aux-in-Quellgerät Audiosignale wiedergibt, und erhöhen Sie allmählich die Lautstärke.
WENN SIE DEN LAUTSPRECHER NICHT MIT IHREM BT-Gerät VERBINDEN KÖNNEN, BITTE ÜBERPRÜFEN:
– Wenn Ihr Gerät den MAPU-Lautsprecher nicht erkennt, schalten Sie die BT-Funktion aus und dann wieder ein und warten Sie einen Moment. (Bei Android-Geräten wählen Sie “Aktualisieren”)
– Wenn Sie Ihr Gerät nicht koppeln können, stellen Sie sicher, dass kein anderes Gerät gekoppelt oder die Verbindung blockiert ist. (Um die Verbindung manuell zu trennen, halten Sie die Master-Taste mindestens 3 Sekunden lang gedrückt, bis das orangefarbene Licht zu blinken beginnt und der Marimba-Ton erscheint).
– Versuchen Sie, ein anderes BT-Gerät anzuschließen, oder versuchen Sie, eine Verbindung über die Audio-in-Minibuchse herzustellen.
– Wenn Ihr Gerät den Lautsprecher überhaupt nicht erkennt, setzen Sie die Verbindung zurück, indem Sie MAPU aus der BT-Liste auf Ihrem Gerät entfernen. Beginnen Sie dann den Verbindungsvorgang von vorne.
WENN DIE VERBINDUNG UNTERBROCHEN IST, ÜBERPRÜFEN SIE BITTE:
– Bewegen Sie das Gerät näher an den Lautsprecher heran. (empfohlener Abstand < 10m)
– Vermeiden Sie Quellen von Interferenzen oder Signalabsorption wie dicke Wände, Aquarien oder menschliche Körper. (Störungen können auch auftreten, wenn Sie das Gerät in Ihrer Tasche tragen).
*NUR FÜR MAPU STEREO
– Wenn nur einer der Lautsprecher in einem Stereopaar den Ton wiedergibt, stellen Sie sicher, dass der Aktiv- und der Passivlautsprecher über das XLR-Stereokabel richtig angeschlossen sind.
– Wenn Sie ein metallisches Vibrieren auf der Rückseite der Lautsprecher hören, prüfen Sie, ob die Schrauben des XLR-Stereokabels (6) locker sind und ziehen Sie sie auf beiden Seiten wieder fest.

INFORMACIÓN IMPORTANTE
Verify Line Voltage Before Use
All Mapu Speakers have been designed for use with 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz AC power. Connection to different line voltage may create a safety and fire hazard and may damage the unit. If you have any questions about the voltage requirements for your speaker, or about the line voltage in your area, contact us before plugging the unit into a wall outlet!
Do not use extension cords
To avoid safety hazards, use only the power cord supplied with your unit. We do not recommend any extension cords be used with this product. As with all electrical devices, do not run power cords under rugs or carpets, or place heavy objects on them. Damaged power cords should be replaced immediately with a cord that meets factory specifications.
Handle the AC power cord with care
When disconnecting the power cord from an AC outlet, always pull the plug; never pull the cord. If you do not intend to use your speaker for any considerable length of time, disconnect the plug from the AC outlet.
Do not open the speaker cabinet or power supply
There are no user-serviceable components inside the Mapuguaquén speakers. Opening the cabinet may present a shock hazard, and any modification to the product will void your warranty. If water or any metal object accidentally falls inside the unit, disconnect it from the AC power source immediately and contact us.
Do not allow the power supply or speaker to come into contact with water, humidity or heat.
The speaker technology, including the power supply and outer cabinet materials, is sensitive to extreme heat and humidity. Keep away from any hazardous conditions. Contact with water, humidity, or heat may result in a shock hazard or damage the speaker itself.
